Denver Steak w/ Creamy Peppercorn Steak Sauce

Creamy Peppercorn Sauce

  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 1/2 half shallot minced
  • 6 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp W-Sauce Fireshire Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2-3 tbsp freshly cracked peppercorns
  • pinch of salt
  1. Season steak then in a pan on high heat sear all sides using a press to hold down steak for an even sear
  2. When steak reaches an internal temp of 130 remove and rest
  3. In the same pan on medium heat add in butter
  4. When melted add in shallots and garlic. Cook until translucent 
  5. Now add in Worcestershire, beef broth, heavy cream, salt, peppercorn
  6. Cook for about 5 min while frequently stirring. Cook until slightly thickene
  7. Slice up steak and serve w/ sauce and chives
