Garlic Lemon Pepper Wings

Prep Time: 10 Min | Cook Time: 1 hr

  • 1 lb Party Wings
  • Salt & Pepper Rub
  • 1 whole lemon, another additional lemon for zest
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 whole head of garlic minced
  • 2-3 tbsp Lemon Pepper seasoning

 

Products used in video:

  1. Olive oil as a binder then Season wings with Salt and Pepper
  2. Smoke indirect for about 45 mins at about 300F using applewood chips
  3. After 45 min or so move wings over coals to get a nice char. Cooking on each side for 2-3 min
  4. When done remove and heat up a cast iron over the coals
  5. Cut a lemon in half and place over coals
  6. Add butter to pan and melt, then add in minced garlic and cook for around 5 mins
  7. Add in lemon pepper seasoning, Squeeze both lemon halves into pan, mix and cook for another 5 min
  8. When done toss wings in the sauce then top with a sprinkle of lemon pepper seasoning and lemon zest then enjoy!
