- Ingredients
𝘾𝙖𝙟𝙪𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙬𝙗𝙤𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨:
- 1 c. butter, melted
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 whole garlic, minced
- 1 small shallot, minced
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 tbsp. Freshly Chopped Parsley
- 1 tbsp. freshly chopped chives
- 2 tsp. minced thyme
- 1tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. @tonychacheres Spice N’ Herbs
- tbsp. @tonychacheres Louisiana Pepper Sauce
- Instructions
- Seasoned tomahawk w/ @tonychacheres Bold Creole seasoning
- Hung it over open fire till an internal temp of around 115 over lump charcoal and hickory wood
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat then add in minced garlic and shallots. Cook till fragrant
- Add in Dijon, paprika, cayenne, lemon juice, @tonychacheres Spice N’ Herbs and pepper sauce. Mix to incorporate all that flavor
- Then add in thyme, parsley and chives. Cook for 1 min then transfer to a small dipping bowl
- When tomahawk reaches 115 remove set a side
- Place a cast iron upside down over fire. This will allow you to lay the tomahawk flat for an even sear without the bone getting in the way
- Oil cast iron then sear tomahawk for about 1-2 min per side. Remove when then internal reaches 130
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes then slice up and enjoy
