- Saba Bananas, can sub w/ regular bananas
- Lumpia Wrappers
- Nutella
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp salted butter
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp heavy cream
- pinch of Sea Salt
- Peanut oil for frying

- In a pan on medium heat add in granulated sugar
- Mix continuously until all melted and it turns a light to dark brown. Pay very close attention as it is very easy to overcook. The longer you cook the darker the caramel it will turn out
- When it gets to the color you want shut off heat and add in butter while continuing to mix
- Once butter is fully incorporated slowly add in heavy cream while continuing to mix
- When all is mixed well add in sea salt.
- Peel bananas and square off ends then cut into halves lengthwise then cut again lengthwise. Lookin for a size of about 4in lengthwise. Depending on the type of banana cut accordingly
- Lay out a single lumpia wrapper, add a 1 tbsp of Nutella then place a slice of banana
- Fold 1 corner of lumpia wrapper over banana, fold both sides in towards banana then roll. Adding egg wash or plain water to tip of lumpia wrapper to seal
- Heat up oil to 350F degrees then fry a couple of lumpia’s at a time, do not over crowd and cook until golden brown. Flipping halfway
- When done drizzle on caramel and sprinkle of some more sea salt and enjoy
