BBQ Whiskey Pork Spare Ribs

Prep Time: 40 Min | Cook Time: 4 hrs

Whiskey BBQ Sauce

  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • 1 cup @goldbarwhiskey whiskey
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp @wsauceofficial Fireshire
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  1.  Pre-Heat smoker to 300 for a hot and fast cook or cook your ribs up however you like
  2.  @thebreakfastsauce as a binder
  3.  Season Ribs w/ @blazingstarbbq Reaper Rub
  4.  Place ribs in the smoker for 3hrs
  5.  In large pan add in all your sauce ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat constantly stirring
  6.  Once boiling reduce heat to a gentle boil and cook uncovered for another 15 mins or until it reduces to about 1 ⅓ cups
  7.  Add to a mason jar and set aside
  8.  When ribs are at about 195 internal sauce them up and cook for another 10mins
  9.  Let rest for about 20 mins then slice them up
